Here at International Business Concepts, we have the ultimate Fall bucket list. Not only are we excited for falling leaves, cooler weather, and hot apple cider, but we’re also ready to participate in all the festive events around our city! Keep reading to find out where our team will be in the next coming months and where you can take your family while still socially distancing.
Outdoor Mural Scavenger Hunt
One thing we love spotting when out on a drive in our beautiful city is the various murals all around town! Throughout our years headquartered here, we’ve discovered about over half of the 30 public artworks in person. A few of our favorites include “Life In Bloom” located downtown, “Summer’s Where You’ll Find Me” at the North Carolina Museum of Art’s outdoor park, and of course,” ‘Sprinkles’ The Bobcat” in Glenwood South district. The best thing about this scavenger hunt is that it’s free and open to the public!
State Farmers Market
For all those who love fresh produce and seasonal exclusives, you’ll want to check out what this farmer’s market has in stock! It offers more than fresh vegetables; it’s an adventure for the entire family! Visitors enjoy 75 acres (yes, you read that correctly) of indoor/outdoor specialty shops, restaurants, and garden center, with fruits, vegetables, meats, and gift products from across the state. You can not go wrong with putting a visit to this farm on your fall schedule!
Ken’s Korny Corn Maze
If you’re looking for massive amounts of activities all in one place, Ken’s Korny Corn Maze might be right up your ally! Activities include a children’s maze, rope maze, concessions, picnic area, photo opportunities, hay barn, corn crib, gourd checkers, monster truck and tractor, miniature golf, tetherball, hayrides, and pumpkins. Although the evening Haunted Farm Nightmares has been postponed, mark your calendars for next year to participate in the haunted side of this corn maze!
La Farm Bakery & Cafe
Carbohydrates who? What is the fall season without festive pastries to brighten your mornings? The team at International Business Concepts loves to try various foods from different cultures! Here, you can taste La Farm’s artisan bread, tarts, pastries, sandwiches, and specialty products and experience the taste of hundreds of years of French cuisine. We look forward to stocking up on cinnamon pull-apart bread and signing up for a bread baking class in the coming months!
Hike, Bike, or Run
North Carolina offers endless trails for site seeing or an area to get your cardio in. Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve, Lake Crabtree County Park, Lake Johnson Park, William B. Umstead State Park, Neuse River Greenway Trail, and so many more! Enjoy an afternoon stroll in the cold autumn air or a morning jog with the leaves underfoot. These parks offer miles of nature’s organic views. We love discovering these places and look forward to becoming one with nature this fall season.
Autumn brings joy to every individual in different ways here at International Business Concepts. Cross-off objectives on your bucket list with us in the coming months as the season changes and weather cools down. It’s officially the time of year for jeans, sweaters, and cardigans. If you have a favorite activity in this city during the fall, let us know, and we look forward to seeing you out & about!
